Hi, I’m Maggie.
I help organizations and small business make smarter decisions about SEO, content, and online visibility.
SEO has changed dramatically over the course of my career, but one thing hasn’t: lasting results come from understanding your audience, creating valuable content, and making informed decisions based on data and research — not hype.
Every organization has different goals, audiences and challenges. My role is to help simplify the complex, identify meaningful opportunities, and develop practical strategies that improve visibility, strengthen content, and support long-term growth for your business.

My journey into SEO and content strategy
My career began in editorial, with a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism. As I was graduating, the industry was undergoing a major transformation. Newsrooms were shifting online, audiences were changing how they consumed information, and digital publishing was becoming the future.
Recognizing where the industry was headed, I decided to continue my education and earned a Master of Science in Online Journalism, where I focused on digital publishing, online marketing, and the growing role of SEO in helping people discover content.
That combination of editorial training and digital strategy shaped the way I approach SEO today. I started my career creating content before expanding into SEO and content strategy, eventually leading enterprise SEO initiatives for one of the world’s largest B2B technology publishing organizations.
Working across editorial, marketing, product, engineering, and analytics teams taught me that successful SEO isn’t about chasing algorithms or quick wins. It’s about understanding your audience, creating valuable content, and building strategies that can evolve as search continues to change.

What clients and colleagues value about working with me:
I turn complex SEO into clear, practical guidance
You don’t need to understand SEO to work with me. I explain what I’m seeing, why it matters, and what you can realistically do about it, without overwhelming you with technical jargon or unnecessary recommendations.
I bring a content-first perspective to SEO
My journalism and editorial background means I think about the person on the other side of the search: what they’re looking for, what they need to know, and what will genuinely help them make a decision.
I meet you where you are
Some clients have experienced marketing teams; others are starting from scratch. I tailor my guidance to your level of knowledge, resources, goals, and budget rather than expecting you to fit into a predetermined SEO package or process.
I use data to understand what’s really happening
I look at performance data to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where opportunities exist, then turn those insights into recommendations you can actually use.
I connect SEO, content, and the bigger business picture
I look beyond individual rankings or tactics to understand how search fits into your broader goals, whether that’s supporting a complex B2B buyer journey or simply helping more potential customers discover your business.
I work with you directly; not like a traditional agency
You work directly with me. I take the time to understand your business, answer questions, explain my recommendations, and collaborate with you or your existing team rather than handing off a generic report or one-size-fits-all plan.
A bit more about me..
I’m based in Massachusetts and have lived here for most of my adult life, although I’m originally from New York. I have two kids and three dogs, who keep me plenty busy outside of work.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me cooking or baking (bread, specifically), gardening (flowers, specifically), painting, hiking, or spending time with my two very wild boys. I also have a deep love for music and interior design and am constantly rearranging rooms or making over furniture to keep our home feeling fresh and cozy.
